Do you know this one, Creepsters?
And will you sing along?
"But the blood on my hands scares me to death
maybe I'm waking up...today"
"I'll be good. I'll be good.
And I'll love the world like I should."

Happy Weekend, Creepsters.
I had a question for all of you.
Do you follow your horoscope?
Are you a believer of the stars?
Can you get through the day without an astrological update or tweet?
I am a believer in the cosmos and although I do like to read my horoscope whenever I can, I do not plan my days or nights by them or any of the predictions they may claim. I really think we make our own way as we go. However, I did wake up to this post by one of the accounts I follow and it resonated with me and I thought how close to my heart it is...
|And if you're on Twitter follow The Moon Tarot|
It's a great place to visit.
I will repeat this throughout my day, but especially during the night,
when the nightmares come for me.
"There's no need to fear what lives in your shadows."

There are some wild and wicked places here, Creepsters.
Where would you like to travel to?
Which of these 10 would you like to see and experience?

"Inside each of us, there is the seed of both good and evil.
It's a constant struggle as to which one will win.
And one cannot exist without the other."

The Night Lights Book Club has changed things up for the new year,
instead of picking one book, we picked one author.
A shout out this month to one of my all-time favorites, Sylvia Plath.
If you are unfamiliar with her work, get to know her.
You will love her words.
You will love her honesty.
If you've already read her poems or prose,
please share your opinions on her life or her writings below.

It's only the second day into the new year and things are already taking a creepy turn.
Here are the top 3 wicked things that happened to me today...
Earlier, I was running a few errands and I stopped for gas. The total was 13 dollars even.
Nothing wrong with the good old number 13, I told myself. Just because hotels and hospitals don't acknowledge the number and usually omit it from their buildings is no reason to think about it.
Carry on, Dee.
So, I did.
I carried right on to a little road called Elm Street.
I guess the movie was right and every town does have one.
I was actually making a turn around and not even thinking about where I was, only where I was headed and that's when I caught sight of the street sign.
I gave a nervous laugh.
I also sped out of this residential area a little too fast for my surroundings but happy to see that street sign in my rear view mirror.
Well, it's nice to report that the rest of my travels went smoothly. I got done what I needed to do and made it back to my abode safe and sound.
And as I began to post to my social media accounts, that's when I noticed the third sign of evil lurking around me.
According to my Twitter Account for Night Lights, I have posted 666 photos to date. What the hell?
Guess I'll try a fresh. anti-evil start tomorrow.
Till then, Creepsters.
