A shout out to my Creepsters ~
Here at Night Lights Cast Shadows, we discuss many topics.
We debate the unknown and we imagine the what-ifs of other worlds.
We discover our fears and lay them out for dissection.
We cover the creepy and we investigate the scary.
But there is nothing more frightening than cancer.
And, unfortunately, it affects all of our lives in some way.
My sister is fighting the battle and she is kicking it in the ass.
She has teamed up with The American Cancer Society and is fundraising for an event.
I am sending out this post to anyone who would like to support her and the fight.
Even if you want to donate $5, do it. It all adds up and every donation helps.
Here is the link: Making Strides
So, let's make it rain over there, Creepsters.
Rain money.
Rain so hard that this thing called cancer won't be able to rear its ugly head.
Because this is one horror we can do without.
Thank you for listening~
And thank you for donating ~

Zom-dram
This was sent to me from one of my Creepsters.
It's a cool little short that kept me on edge.
If you love zombies, it's definitely worth a look.
Your thoughts?

Mind Your Business
There are horrors beyond life's edge that we do not suspect,
And once in a while
man's evil prying calls them just within our range.

About To Break
Horror fiction shows us
that the control we believe we have is purely illusory,
and that every moment
we teeter on chaos and oblivion."

The Time Machine
I woke with a start,
and with an odd fancy that some greyish animal had just rushed out of the chamber.
I tried to get to sleep again,
but I felt restless and uncomfortable.
It was that dim grey hour when things are just creeping out of darkness,
when everything is colourless and clear cut,
and yet unreal.

Mirrors
The storm chases me,
Ripping through the blanket of night.
It catches me beneath the rain;
Among the thunder; Among the pain.
For the dawn to wake me;
For the light to cleanse me;
For reality to wash it all away.
Or is it the dream I wake up to?
A short break from the insanity,
Only to return to the darkness of time?
