Freak Encounters: Man Eating Snake?

Well, of course anacondas exist. But I think these questions come into play:
Are there certain reptiles that hunt humans?
That prefer the taste of people over another animal or plant?
That seek us out to devour?
Or is such a snake simply hungry and holding no intent or ill-will towards us?

Guess we'll just have to let science fiction interpret this mystery for us.
