Incinerated

Nightmare # 99
A fat-bellied robin coughed on its song, as the black smoke billowed past the tips of the trees.  Traces of gray clouds floated across the evening sky and the building raged with heat.  Screams echoed through the flames.
Less than a block away, the little girl stood staring at its inferno.  With glazed eyes and a pointed finger she cried out:  "Their blood is on my hands.  I killed them - all of them -- every last one of them."
